The International Conference Group, Faculty of Management Studies, takes great pride and pleasure in announcing its third Annual International Conference. After our consistent success in strengthening our international exposure and understanding, it is now time to set yet another milestone. The emerging retail industry in India has gained importance over the years and has opened the doors to new trends and formats. However, the story of the revolution of Indian retail is looked at with optimism as well as skepticism which lead us to wonder “Indian Retail revolution: myth or reality?” It promises to provide a wonderful platform for interaction with academicians, industry practitioners & students on the current challenges being faced by India in the retail space.
Last year, we held the 2nd International Conference on “Marketing Challenges in today’s Globalized World – Redefining Value, Productivity, Innovation & Culture” from 14-17 Dec 2006. We witnessed a healthy participation of academicians, policy makers & experts expressing their diverse view points through a plethora of sessions. The list of distinguished international speakers included Prof. Brien Smith, Chair, Department of Marketing & Management, Miller College of Business, Ball State University, USA.
