Dear Alumnus,

Fifty years is a long time for an institution to prove its mettle and FMS has done it well. Having contributed more than 10000 corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, government functionaries and academicians, it has made a significant contribution to Corporate India. Today, FMSites occupy some of the key positions in the industry, government, and public sector. Lately, it has also started making its presence felt in the global management arena with many of the FMSites either moving to global corporate scene or young MBAs joining jobs off-shore straight from the Campus. We are proud of our fellow alumni who have brought laurels to their alma mater.

After making a humble beginning in January 1998, the FMS Alumni Association has shown remarkable growth and at present has a database of more than 3000 addresses and has more than 1200 Life Members of the association. The association has also spread its wings to other business centres. Get-togethers at Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai have become a regular feature.

The association is composed of alumni from all the programmes. The current students of MBA(Full-Time), MBA(Part-Time), MBA(HCA), MBA(PSM) and MBA(MS) programmes have also enrolled themselves as Associate Members. The Association owes its existence to all these valuable members. Our website is fully operational at the address : www.fmsaa.net and it provides a facility of on-line updation of database. During the last three months more than 200 members have updated their database co-ordinates on the website. We request all FMSites to register themselves on the site and update their co-ordinates for constant communication with other members of the FMS Fraternity.

'FOOTPRINTS' - The FMSAA Newsletter is a much awaited information vehicle for all alumni for an update on the alma mater. Apart from the regular get-togethers, organization of Silver Jubilee Reunions and events such as "Bees Saal Baad" get-togethers is becoming a regular feature of the FMS alumni.

Annual Dinner is the most awaited event of the Association. This year the FMSAA Annual Alumni Dinner is being organized on Saturday, the 19th February 2005 at The Hub, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. This being the 50th year of FMS, we are expecting convergence of alumni in large numbers on this occasion. You are requested to keep your evening free for a date with your alma mater.

We are grateful to our alumni and faculty who have been a constant source of inspiration. Notwithstanding our modest achievements, we still have a long way to go. As we look forward to a grand future, we invite you to participate and help us grow the FMS Alumni Association. Let us all build the FMS spirit.
