to academic career. He has over ten years of teaching
experience. Actively engaged in research, training,
and consultancy in HRD, and on Health Sector Reform
issues.

Carried out research projects with WHO, World Bank,
European Commission, and Population Council. Awarded
the Robert McNamara research fellowship of the World
Bank in 2000-01. Involved in training of government
officials, corporate executives, and hospital administrators.
Currently engaged in collaborative research for developing
two national level policy documents. Presented papers
in number of international conferences.
Current Research
This research project titled ‘Public-Private Partnership in the Provision of Health Services for the Poor” is being funded by the Indo-Dutch Programme on Alternatives in Development (IDPAD), under its Vth Phase. The project is jointly undertaken by Dr.A.Venkat Raman, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, India and Professor James Warner Bjorkman, Professor of Public Policy, Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague, Netherlands.
