BIO-SKETCH

Mr. Narain is an Assistant Professor of Financial Economics at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, where he teaches Financial & Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management. He has short but varied teaching experience to various classes of students; pre‐college, undergraduates, post graduates and senior management personnel. He is an active researcher scholar in the area of stock market and its economic efficiency. His specialization includes the economics of investment, Financing, Reporting and Financial Information Analysis. He is also actively involved in teaching, research, consultancy and training for some public and private entities. He has also attended various workshops, national & international conferences, delegations, seminars and actively contributed to various committees at the administrative levels.

RESEARCH INTERESTS / SPECIALISATION

My areas of research interests include the economics of making the investments, staying invested and the decisions as to disinvestment. In particular, the microstructures of regulatory bodies, personal investment decision of the investors, among others. I am keen to study the features of the Indian Stock Markets which have the implications as to the efficiency of the Stock Exchanges like stock futures trading etc.
