V. K. Bhalla
M.A. Ph.D

Prof. Bhalla has conducted a large number of studies with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Institute of Developing Economics (Tokyo), EFMD(EU), USAID, Planning Commission, RBI and the UGC. He has received invitations from the IMF to be an observer on seminars relating to adjustment and economic growth. He is a visiting fellow at Bielefeld University, Germany and IDE, Tokyo. He has written 22 books and more than 120 research papers. He has been a member of the Government of India task force on Public Enterprises and convenor of the UGC management panel. He serves on the board of directors of several companies.
